6. Advertising our partners

Life also finances itself through ads. The ads on this page are fixed motives that we deliver ourselves. There is no ad tracking and no personalized advertising. Only when you click an advertisement, switch to the partner's website; there its privacy policy applies.

7. Links to Instagram and other services

We do not include Instagram, but only link it. Data will only flow when you click on the link and open the Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. page.

8. Contact and order by e-mail

If you write to us or order a booklet, we process your information in order to process the request or order (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Order documents are kept in accordance with the respective commercial and tax obligations: Booking documents generally eight years, commercial and business letters six years, certain accounting documents ten years. Longer deadlines may arise from legal special regulations or open procedures. Requests without contract will be deleted as soon as they have been completed.

Orders, PayPal and personal online accesses

If you use the order function, CLS Printmedia will process your e-mail address, selected issue, order number, dates, prices and payment status. We will also process name and delivery address for print orders. In the case of digital orders, we will store your declaration for immediate provision including time and version of the order terms. The purpose is to carry out and document your purchase (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR); we comply with legal requirements on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. A newsletter registration is not associated with this.

Payment processing

The payment is processed via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. Only when you continue the order process for payment, the order and amount data required for this payment are transmitted to PayPal; in the case of print purchases, this includes the delivery address. PayPal also receives technical connection data when visiting its payment page and processes your payment and account data under our own responsibility. We receive payment identifiers and payment status, but no complete bank or credit card data.

Payment is made via the PayPal account of the Internet agency Schmirler Consulting (Piet Schmirler), which accepts payments for CLS Printmedia. Schmirler Consulting receives the necessary transaction and order data for this purpose. Seller and contact person for your order remains CLS Printmedia. The required processing serves the payment and contract processing (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Order confirmations and print shipping

Order confirmations and personal reading links are sent by b.shemsiu@cls-printmedia.de to the e-mail address you specified. CLS Printmedia receives the order notification required for processing at the same address. The processing takes place for contract fulfilment, not for advertising. We use STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin for e-mail dispatch. For delivery STRATO processes sender, recipient and message content in particular; your own e-mail provider also processes the message when later retrieved. For the print shipment, the postal or parcel service commissioned will receive the name and delivery address as far as this is necessary for delivery.

Online cancellation

When using the "Revoke Contract" function, we process your name, e-mail address, details of the contract concerned, the content of your declaration as well as receipt time and transaction number. We store the statement and send you and CLS Printmedia an acknowledgement of receipt. This serves to process your declaration and fulfil legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR). An automated decision on the legal effectiveness of your revocation does not take place. In order to prevent abuse, we use limited check values of the e-mail address (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), which are not stored in plain text; these technical counters are removed regularly after expiry.

Technically necessary sessions and reading link

We use the necessary session cookie life_shop to process your order. It assigns the PayPal return of your order and supports the protection against counterfeit form requests. For the protected reader we use the session cookie life_reader. Both are exclusively for the requested purchase or read access, are protected against script access and are used as session cookies. The legal basis is § 25 paragraph 2 number 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b GDPR. A statistical consent is not required for a purchase.

The personal reading link is an access key. In the order database, a check value and an encrypted version are stored. We use the access check link and can block it in case of legitimate return processing or misuse. Please don't pass it on. The access identifier is read out from the address fragment and transferred to a reading session via a protected request. It is not transmitted as a page address to Google Analytics. In the protected reader no analytics integration is provided.

Storage duration and protection

We store order and payment documents in accordance with the relevant commercial and tax law retention obligations. We retain access data to the purchased online expenditure for as long as they are necessary for the agreed access and processing of related claims. Unfinished, unpaid order transactions are regularly cleaned after 30 days if no payment or clarification process still exists; already paid orders are not deleted. The data are not used for newsletters or personalized advertising. Order data, read files and access keys are in a server area locked against public access.
