Steven Kern Artist of the year 2023 Popart is beautiful and good. . ..only unfortunately the art market is completely flooded with it. Honestly, many of the modern pictures are also relatively easy to make. Many artists paint the comics not even themselves, but pauses and print them on wedge frames.

One who definitely stands out from the crowd and dominates his craft is Steven Kern. He also goes over time, but has his own very special style. His mostly rather large pictures are elaborate works of art produced in several layers and various materials, often also plastic.

They need his time until they look like Steven sees them in his vision from the beginning. Since he can now live well off his talent laid into the cradle, but he strives for more, he has now opened his first own gallery together with his business partner Nils Hennicke in Frankfurt, Alte Rothofstrasse 9.

In this gallery he not only wants to present and sell his own paintings, he also wants to give other artists a platform. To the demand for what drives him, he answers that he would like to be perceived as an artist already in his lifetime and not how many artists become really successful only after death.

In order to achieve his goals, he spends most of his time in his studio, where he works a lot and hard. He also lets others participate in his success and already donated a work of art with five figures in favour of impaired children. He wants to continue doing this in the future.
